Adapted from Central Asian and Persian samovar traditions, Kashmiri examples typically feature a central charcoal chamber surrounded by a water reservoir. Finely engraved and often silver-plated or tinned, the samavar became both a functional household vessel and a celebrated expression of Kashmiri metal craftsmanship.
